Page Layout/Typesetting/Image Editing: Press-Kit/"One-Sheet"

Single-page press-kit for the indie-rock band Jet Set Kate. A simple, four-color design featuring the band's logo and mirroring the band's album aesthetic lets the viewer instantly identify the band while the gritty, posterized photograph showcases the band's intensity and indie-vibe. A biography and description of credible performances gives background information on the band so promoters can easily decide where the group fits in their line-up. Contact and website information are prominently displayed. Graphic "contrails" help devide the page into easy to interpret sections while establishing the "jet" concept throughout the document and tying the layout to the band's logo.

Page Layout/Typesetting: Compact Disc Packaging

Compact disc packaging for the indie-rock band Jet Set Kate. Simple design mirrors the sleek look of airplanes and the travel aesthetic. Utilizes the band's existing style-book for typeface selection and features the band's logo in a subdued way so as to emphasize the music, not the band's image. Clearly identifies all relevant persons in the album-creation process and directs the viewer to the band's website to find out about upcoming performances, booking, and related content. Compact disc label contains all of the relevant information a fan or promoter may want to have, should the case and insert be lost.

Logo Creation/Typesetting: Identity Branding

Logo design and typeface selection for the indie-rock band Jet Set Kate. Design uses the j from the band's name to create two concepts which connect the band's name to other ideas which will remind the viewer of the band when traveling. The bottom of the J becomes the contrail for a stylized aircraft --fast, sleek, and new like the band's image and sound. The top of the J in conjunction with the circle represents a watch or clock and reminds the viewer of being timely when traveling. The design translates at all sizes and in multiple color combinations including black and white.

The logo and typeface were featured in the band's promotional materials, website, and CD layouts.
